Welcome to La Cocina Steamboat,

Omar and Ivan, two friends who emigrated from Mexico more than 20 years ago and call Steamboat home now, worked for different restaurants but always missed the authentic flavor and simple dishes they grew up with. 

A few weeks ago, they were presented with the option of showcasing their food and flavors at The Commons Steamboat, and for all the passion they share about their Mexican food, they decided to open La Cocina, offering simple dishes that you usually find in the streets of Mexico, but with that flavor they could never forget.
